The meeting began with an appointment ceremony for six newly appointed committee members, followed by a roundtable discussion. Governor Seo Taewon and senior officials attended the discussion, where they freely debated local issues facing Gapyeong County and the direction of county policies.
During the subsequent election of committee leadership, So Sungkyu, Vice President for Administration at Daejin University, who has participated in border area development and balanced regional development policies, was elected as chairperson.

Following the Policy Advisory Committee meeting, the '2025 50 Major Strategic Projects 2nd Quarter Progress Report' meeting was held at the county office on July 7. Governor Seo Taewon, the vice governor, directors, and all department heads attended the meeting to review the status of each strategic project, focusing on progress compared to the first quarter and discussing areas needing improvement.
