The Korea Businessmen Association (KBA) announced on the 8th that it held the 'K-Vacance Campaign' to promote domestic travel at Cheonggye Plaza and Sarangjae at the National Assembly in Seoul.

The K-Vacance Campaign is a domestic demand revitalization initiative organized by the KBA. It was co-hosted by the National Assembly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, KBS, the Korea Federation of SMEs, KB Financial Group, the Korea Tourism Organization, and major local governments.

Various programs were prepared for the campaign, including the prize event 'Paldomabul', local government tourism promotions, tastings of regional foods, summer music performances, and social media (SNS) certification activities.

At 'Paldomabul', prizes such as local currency and tour passes usable at domestic vacation destinations were offered, and the tasting booth provided regionally distinctive snacks such as Daejeon fried soybeans and Miryang Eoreumgol apple juice.

In his welcoming remarks, KBA Chairman Ryu Jin said, "Countless local markets, lodging businesses, and self-employed individuals rely on even the smallest acts of consumption. It is time to revive the heart of our weakened domestic demand," adding, "I strongly encourage everyone to spend their summer vacation in Korea. I myself will be visiting Sangha Ranch in Gochang, North Jeolla Province."

The KBA stated, "We hope this campaign will help local small business owners and the self-employed," and added, "We will continue to carry out various activities to boost the domestic economy and restore livelihoods."
