It has been confirmed that Lee Jinsuk, nominee for Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education, reported assets totaling approximately 4.33 billion won, including deposits and automobiles under her name and her spouse's name.
According to the confirmation hearing request submitted to the National Assembly on July 7, Lee reported a total of 3.21638 billion won under her name, including an apartment in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon valued at 1.42 billion won and deposits amounting to 1.79638 billion won.
Lee's spouse reported deposits of 955.66 million won, as well as vehicles including a 2023 Santa Fe (34.23 million won) and a 2023 Benz (122.78 million won). In addition, it was found that the spouse holds a bond from a cooperative valued at 1 million won.
Lee's eldest daughter refused to disclose her assets, citing independent living as the reason, while the younger daughter was excluded from the report due to her marriage.
