KOSPI-listed company Insun Kobe announced on July 7 that its color cosmetics brand "Coralhaze" has had its flagship product, "Glowlock Jelly Tint," selected as one of the Best Hit Products for the first half of 2025 by the renowned Japanese consumer magazine "LDK the Beauty." The product ranked second in the "Lip Makeup" category and is being recognized for solidifying its presence in the Japanese market.
LDK is a leading review magazine in Japan, often referred to as the Japanese version of Consumer Reports among local consumers. Under the slogan "A Women's Magazine That Tests," the magazine eliminates advertiser influence by purchasing products with its own funds and conducts fair evaluations of usability, performance, cost-effectiveness, and durability together with field experts.
LDK classifies products as either "Best Buy" or "Worst Buy," providing consumers with clear purchasing guidance. This approach has become a major standard for Japanese women consumers, earning their strong trust and influencing purchasing decisions.
According to the company, Coralhaze's "Glowlock Jelly Tint" has quickly become a hit product, surpassing cumulative sales of 400,000 units since its launch in the Japanese market in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The product's unique padlock-shaped packaging, jelly-like thick texture, high-adherence shine, and vivid color payoff have all contributed to high satisfaction among local consumers. The latest recognition from LDK is particularly meaningful as it acknowledges not only the design but also the intrinsic quality of the product.
A Coralhaze representative stated, "While Glowlock Jelly Tint initially attracted attention for its design, it has received genuine quality evaluations from Japanese consumers thanks to its moisturizing feel and vibrant color expression. With a new lip makeup product set to launch in the second half of this year, we are also looking forward to the birth of a second hit product."
