The luxury flagship sedan S90 represents the top tier of Volvo's lineup. The most notable feature of the Launch Edition is the introduction of rear air suspension, which is not available on existing models. In the recently released new S90, rear air suspension is only equipped on the T8 (PHEV) model. However, the S90 Launch Edition, despite featuring the B5 (MHEV) powertrain, comes standard with rear air suspension, providing a comfortable ride and a stable driving experience.

Additionally, it is based on the top-tier Ultra trim and is released with a Bright theme. The vehicle is equipped with new Matrix LED headlights and a front grille featuring diagonal mesh inserts and a graphic pattern. The taillights are designed to harmonize with the Thor's Hammer headlight design, while the internal chrome components have been changed to black and finished with a darker design, offering a more modern look.

The interior features textile made from 100% recycled polyester and wood decor with ambient lighting that emphasizes texture. A crystal gear knob from Swedish brand Orrefors and a 1,410W Bowers & Wilkins high-fidelity sound system, consisting of 19 independent hi-fi speakers, are provided as standard.

The powertrain consists of a 48V mild hybrid (B5) gasoline engine with a maximum output of 250 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A variable turbocharger and optimized combustion cycle have been applied to reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

A new 11.2-inch standalone center display has been installed, allowing users to intuitively access more information such as maps, music, and phone calls. For the first time among imported vehicles, the Naver Whale browser has been added, enabling users to enjoy a variety of entertainment content, including various OTT services, music streaming, webtoons, and e-books.

The S90 Launch Edition is priced at 73,900,000 KRW. Among imported vehicles currently on sale, it offers the lowest price for a configuration that includes rear air suspension.

Lee Yoonmo, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea, stated, "The S90 Launch Edition is likely the only model among imported cars in the 70 million KRW range to come standard with rear air suspension. I hope customers will experience the true essence of a Swedish luxury sedan through the S90 Launch Edition, which offers class-leading interior spaciousness with a wheelbase of 3,060mm and comes equipped with rear air suspension."
