Daewoo Construction announced on July 7 that it will begin sales for Wangsuok Prugio The First, which will be built on B1 and B2 blocks of the Wangsuok residential development district in Jinjeon-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, later this month.
B1 Block will consist of five buildings, each with two basement levels and 29 above-ground floors, offering a total of 560 units with exclusive areas ranging from 74 to 84 square meters. B2 Block will also have five buildings with two basement levels and 29 above-ground floors, providing 587 units with exclusive areas of 74 to 84 square meters. Altogether, the complex will comprise 1,147 units. Namyangju Wangsuok District is the largest among the third-phase new towns. Of these, 301 units are being offered for general sale this time, excluding the pre-sale allotment. The price ceiling system will apply, as this is a public sale project with private sector participation.
The Wangsuok Station (tentative name) on the GTX-B line of the metropolitan express railway will be developed as an interchange station with the Gyeongchun Line and Subway Line 9. Construction of the GTX-B line is being pursued with the goal of breaking ground this year. The extension of Seoul Subway Line 9, phase 4, which will connect Gangdong-gu in Seoul, Misaji District in Hanam, Wangsuok District in Namyangju, and Jinjup 2 District, is also underway. To the north of the new apartment complex, Pungyang Station (tentative name) on the double-track Line 4 is planned.
Last month, Kakao signed an investment and attraction agreement with Gyeonggi Province and Namyangju City for the Kakao Digital Hub. The hub is planned for the industrial site in Namyangju Wangsuok District, with a target completion year of 2029. Upon completion, it is expected to create 2,500 jobs. A high-tech urban industrial complex will also be established within the district, which will house Woori Financial Group's integrated IT center, Digital Universe. Demand for housing close to workplaces is expected to increase in the future.
Yangjin-ro, near the complex, provides easy access to Byeollae Interchange and the Northern Arterial Road. Shopping and cultural facilities, as well as commercial districts, are conveniently accessible. There are planned sites for kindergartens, elementary schools, and high schools near the complex. The proximity to a stream, waterfront park, sports park, and recreation area ensures a pleasant living environment.
