This event provides a platform to share how citizens' complaints about daily inconveniences and policy proposals have been reflected in municipal administration and to exchange opinions. This year marks the sixth edition of the event.

During the event, Mayor Park Seungwon will personally host a "Talk Concert" focusing on the policies and areas of greatest interest and empathy among citizens. The city selected the most relevant policies based on a big data analysis of the results from a prior online survey conducted among citizens. Mayor Park will directly explain the purpose and future direction of these policies to citizens at the event, fostering communication.

In the earlier survey, the most frequently mentioned field in response to the question "If I were the Mayor of Gwangmyeong, what policy would I focus on?" was "roads and transportation." There was strong demand for resolving traffic congestion during commuting hours, establishing traffic measures in response to redevelopment and reconstruction, and expanding roads and public transportation. Other areas of high policy interest among citizens included welfare, livelihood economy, and culture and sports, in that order.

The policy that resonated most with citizens was the "livelihood stabilization support fund," followed by "expanding the eligibility for lifelong learning support funds" and "expanding the installation of smart bus stops."

At the event venue, a "Toktok Citizens' Ideas" booth will be set up in the lobby to provide answers to policy proposals or complaints submitted by citizens on memos. In addition, there will be a "Q&A on the Spot" session where Mayor Park will answer citizens' questions directly.

Mayor Park stated, "I always do my best with the belief that the answer lies in the voices of our citizens," and added, "We will create a citizen-centered city through open and empathetic municipal administration that seeks solutions together."

On the day of the event, an exhibition and experience-based promotional booth introducing Gwangmyeong City's key policies, such as carbon neutrality, decentralization, and the social economy, will be operated in the Citizens’ Center rehearsal room. Additionally, a variety of performances, including the iCube Creative Magical Show, which combines theater, magic, and street dance, as well as a performance by the Gwangmyeong City Choir, will also take place.
