Korea University announced on July 5 that it will host the international climate education program 'Climate Corps Summer School' on July 7.
This program is the first official event of the 'Climate Corps,' a global university coalition led by Korea University to address the climate crisis. It will be held under the theme of 'Cross-Border Cooperation for Solving the Climate Crisis.'
A total of 130 scholars and students from 35 universities around the world will form teams to design strategies to address climate challenges such as energy policy, circular economy, and food security.
A Korea University official stated, "We hope this event will serve as a starting point for young people around the world to unite in the face of the climate crisis and to propose practical solutions."
