Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced on July 4 that it has taken a field-oriented approach to communication by visiting the operation site of the "Visiting Civil Service Desk" for residents with mobility difficulties and directly inspecting the delivery of customized administrative services.
County Mayor Lee Sangik recently visited Samjeong Senior Center to inspect the civil service site and listen to the voices of transportation-vulnerable groups. The "Visiting Civil Service Desk" is a customized administrative service operated by the county for socially disadvantaged groups such as seniors and people with disabilities who have difficulty moving. The service includes civil consultation as well as education on how to use unmanned civil document issuance machines.
On this day, Mayor Lee visited the civil service desk, engaged in conversations with residents, listened to their inconveniences, and discussed with relevant officials ways to improve civil service delivery.
Mayor Lee stated, "Ensuring that everyone can access administrative services without discrimination is the foundation of civil administration," and added, "We will not neglect any civil complaint and will create changes that residents can truly feel."
