Online Survey and In-Depth Interviews Conducted Until July 31
The Chungnam Provincial Council's research group for the prevention and support of miscarriage (stillbirth) among high-risk pregnant women will conduct a fact-finding survey targeting families in the province who have experienced miscarriage or stillbirth.
According to the Chungnam Social Service Institute on July 4, this survey is being carried out to secure foundational data for establishing customized policies.
The survey is organized by the Chungnam Social Service Institute and conducted by the research team led by Dr. Kim Pyeonghwa. It will be conducted as an online questionnaire targeting approximately 300 people until July 31, and some participants will also take part in in-depth interviews and expert advisory meetings.
The survey will not be limited to experiences of miscarriage or stillbirth; it will comprehensively inquire about crisis experiences throughout the entire pregnancy and childbirth process, including infertility treatments and high-risk pregnancies.
Assembly member Jeong Byeongin (Health, Welfare, and Environment Committee) stated, "Based on the results of this survey, we will identify practical and systematic support policies at the provincial level and pursue institutionalization measures."
