This project aims to establish a foundation for artificial intelligence (AI) utilization in the public sector and enhance data-driven administrative capabilities among central government agencies and metropolitan and local governments. Through a comprehensive evaluation process that included document screening and interviews, a total of 10 institutions were selected based on criteria such as the potential for AI utilization, the specificity of their plans, and the institution's commitment to implementation.

Through this consulting program, Gimpo City plans to design an administrative automation model utilizing generative AI and will implement hands-on, case-based training and evaluation processes to help practitioners easily apply AI to administrative tasks.

In particular, the "AI and Data Capacity Building Consulting Group," which consists of experts from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the National Information Society Agency (NIA), and specialists in data-driven intelligent administration, will work together with Gimpo City officials to analyze administrative processes and identify tasks suitable for AI-based automation and efficiency improvements. The focus will be on significantly increasing work efficiency and strengthening practitioners' ability to utilize AI.

Lee Kwanho, Director of Information and Communications, stated, "Transitioning to scientific administration based on AI and data is no longer a choice, but a necessity," and added, "Through this consulting program, we will enhance the AI capabilities of our staff and realize smart, trustworthy administrative services."
