On July 3, Song Eonseok, the interim leader and floor leader of the People Power Party, along with other party lawmakers, staged a protest with picket signs in front of the National Assembly main chamber after abstaining from the vote on the confirmation motion for Prime Minister nominee Kim Minseok during a plenary session.
