Double Wedding Mileage Rewards Offered

Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch announced on July 3 that it will hold the "Lotte Wedding Fair" for engaged couples from July 4 to 13.

According to Statistics Korea, the number of marriages in the first quarter of this year increased by 8.4% compared to the previous year, reaching the highest level since 2019. In addition, preparations for wedding gifts and essentials are most commonly made two to three months before the wedding, so purchasing demand among engaged couples preparing for fall wedding peak season is concentrated in the summer.


Lotte Department Store is holding its July wedding fair with the theme of "home styling," offering customized benefits for engaged couples preparing for a new start and newlyweds moving into their new homes.


During this wedding fair, additional "wedding mileage" rewards will be provided for purchases from participating brands. The "wedding mileage" program is a rewards system that allows Lotte Wedding Members to accumulate points on purchases made at Lotte Department Store over nine months, and receive up to 7% of their total accumulated amount as Lotte gift certificates. During the wedding fair, customers can earn up to twice the usual mileage on their purchases.


At the Gwangju Branch, major lifestyle brands are participating, taking into account the high demand for moving during the summer season. Participating furniture brands include Ace, Simmons, Tempur, N32, Sealy, Jakomo, Downing, and Essa. For bedding, brands such as AllerMann, Sofraum, CozyNest, and Sesa are participating. In kitchenware, brands such as Fissler, Le Creuset, Villeroy & Boch, Denby, and Zwilling are included.


LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics are not participating in the wedding double mileage event. However, they are offering an additional 10% mileage reward, 8.5% to 9.5% card company-specific benefits, as well as special brand discounts and coupon offers.


The "Wedding Challenge" event, which provides up to 400,000 additional mileage points, is also being introduced for the first time. This one-time benefit offers different mileage rewards based on the number of brands purchased or the number of days purchases are made during the event period. Customers who purchase from three or more brands or on three or more days will receive an additional 50,000 mileage points, and those who purchase from five or more brands or on five or more days will receive an additional 200,000 mileage points.


Additional benefits are also available for customers preparing for engagement meetings or wedding gift purchases. Lotte Wedding Members will receive a 15% discount coupon for fruit gift sets and a 40% discount coupon for premium Korean beef sets (roast or mixed), both of which can be used through the official "Lotte Wedding" website until July 31.
