Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) and Baroseo Myeon Hospital have signed a business agreement to foster talent in the local medical industry and expand their contributions to the local community.
The Office of External Affairs at Dong-Eui University (Director Kim Chiyong) held a signing ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on July 2, 2025, in the fifth-floor conference room of Baroseo Myeon Hospital (Chief Director Kwon Yongjin), located near Bujeon Station in Busanjin-gu. Both institutions agreed to pursue mutual cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by Kim Chiyong, Director of the Office of External Affairs at Dong-Eui University; Kim Namsu, Team Leader of External Cooperation; Kwon Yongjin, Chief Director of Baroseo Myeon Hospital; Nam Taewook, Director; Jin Bongnam, Head of Nursing; Yang Jeongyeol, Deputy Director of Administration; Park Junbeom, Head of General Affairs; and other representatives from both organizations.
The two institutions agreed to cooperate in the following areas: fostering talent in the local medical industry; providing medical benefits to Dong-Eui University students and staff; dispatching medical and health-related students for internships; and participating in community service activities.
Kim Chiyong, Director of the Office of External Affairs, stated, "Through this agreement with Baroseo Myeon Hospital, which is equipped with the latest medical infrastructure, we will provide students with practical field experience and lay the foundation for growth together with the local community."
Kwon Yongjin, Chief Director, said, "I am pleased to participate in this collaboration to foster local talent. I will work together with Dong-Eui University with an open mind through various projects." Nam Taewook, Director, added, "We will do our best to contribute to regional health and medical advancement through scholarships, talent donations, and volunteer activities."
Baroseo Myeon Hospital, which opened in June 2023, specializes in spinal, joint, and rehabilitation care as well as robotic surgery. The hospital actively contributes to the local community, including making monthly development fund donations to Dong-Eui University.
Dong-Eui University and Baroseo Myeon Hospital have signed a business agreement focused on training medical professionals.
