Jung Yonghwa of CNBLUE will release a new album, according to his agency FNC Entertainment on July 3.
On this day at 6 p.m., Jung Yonghwa will release all tracks from his third mini album 'One Last Day' and the music video for the title track 'Night Runner (Shooting Star)' on various music platforms.
'One Last Day' is an album that captures moments from everyday life that one wishes to cherish. Jung Yonghwa participated in writing and composing most of the tracks, as well as in the overall concept, visuals, and music video production. He chose 'universe' and 'space' as the core keywords.
The title track 'Night Runner (Shooting Star)' is a pop song based on lyrical piano and guitar sounds. By comparing a shooting star to life, it delivers the message that "even if I disappear, my dreams and wishes remain in the sky."
Through his agency, Jung Yonghwa stated, "As this album marks the 10th anniversary of my solo debut, I made it with extra care. It is the most 'Jung Yonghwa-like' work." He added, "I tried to look inward and create songs that truly reflect myself. I think listeners will discover a new side of me."
The music video was filmed in New York, United States. Jung Yonghwa said, "I worked with a longtime friend, so my own color is well expressed."
Regarding his upcoming solo concert, Jung Yonghwa said, "While CNBLUE concerts are known for their energetic atmosphere, this solo concert will focus on delivering the message of the album."
