In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Soo Hyun Kang said, "I would like to thank the citizens for enduring the inconveniences caused by the construction. I hope that the opening of this road will greatly enhance transportation convenience for residents of Gwangjeok-myeon and Nam-myeon and significantly benefit daily travel. Moving forward, we will continue to pursue transportation policies that bring about tangible changes for the community."

This road, with a total length of 5.7 kilometers, began partial operation with a 3.1-kilometer section in December of last year, and the remaining section is scheduled to open on July 5.

The road consists of a 4.1-kilometer expansion from two lanes to four lanes and a newly constructed 1.6-kilometer section, and includes a total of four bridges.

This road connects with the Second Metropolitan Area Ring Expressway (Paju to Yangju), and is expected to enhance the connectivity of the transportation network and lay the foundation for balanced regional development.

Yangju City plans to minimize inconvenience to citizens by conducting continuous safety inspections and maintenance even after the road's opening.
