On July 1, Gijang County held "Emergency Response Training for Different Situations" at the Chasung Art Hall in the county office for 285 on-site workers from Gijang County Office and Gijang County Urban Management Corporation.

This training was organized to help workers effectively respond to various accidents that may occur at worksites and to enhance their initial response capabilities in case of emergencies.
The training was conducted by a professional instructor from the Korea Industrial Safety Association, focusing on real-life cases from industrial sites. The content covered field-oriented topics ranging from emergency treatment for trauma such as falls, fractures, and burns, to response methods for cardiovascular emergencies such as strokes and myocardial infarctions.
On the same day, Gijang County also produced and distributed 200 copies of the "Heat Illness Work Safety Guidelines" booklet to prevent heat-related illnesses during the summer heat. The booklet contains practical safety rules, such as taking regular breaks during heat wave advisories, providing shaded rest areas, and supplying cool drinking water.
Jung Jongbok, the county governor, stated, "During the summer, when the risks of heat waves and various accidents increase, the safety of on-site workers cannot be overemphasized," adding, "We will make Gijang County a place where everyone can work with peace of mind by strengthening emergency response capabilities and improving the working environment."
