The stone monument commemorating the tree planting by former President Yoon Seokyeol, which had been installed at the entrance of Byeongsan Seowon in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province?a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site?has disappeared, prompting the relevant authorities to investigate the situation.
According to Andong City on July 2, former President Yoon planted commemorative trees at two locations?Gyeongbuk Provincial Office and Byeongsan Seowon?after a meeting with Confucian scholars in Andong on October 27, 2023. Subsequently, a black stone monument inscribed with "Commemorative Tree Planting Visit, President Yoon Seokyeol" was installed in front of Byeongsan Seowon.
