A Blend of 10 Ingredients Including Neungi Mushrooms and Cnidium
On July 2, Sempio announced the launch of "Saemine Kitchen Baeksuk Samgyetang Broth," allowing consumers to easily enjoy baeksuk and samgyetang, traditional Korean health foods popular during the summer.
Sempio explained that each pack contains a carefully simmered blend of 15 secret ingredients, including 10 health-promoting medicinal herbs such as neungi mushrooms, astragalus root, angelica root, and cnidium, as well as garlic and onions. Simply add one pack of Saemine Kitchen broth to 2.5 liters of water, mix well, and add a prepared chicken to boil. This allows you to enjoy baeksuk or samgyetang with the rich and refined flavors of neungi mushrooms and medicinal herbs.
Because the broth is in liquid form, there is no waste to discard, unlike when using raw ingredients or tea bags to make soup. There is also no need to worry about tea bag contents leaking during cooking, making for a cleaner and more convenient cooking process.
If you pair the leftover broth from baeksuk with the high-protein "Balance Juk Whole Mung Bean Abalone Samgyejuk," you can enjoy an even more filling and well-balanced meal. Balance Juk was jointly developed by Sempio's Our Taste Research Team chefs and nutritionists to provide 100% of the recommended daily protein intake per meal, based on three meals a day.
