Damyang County in South Jeolla Province announced on July 2 that, with the peak summer vacation season underway, it has upgraded various amenities at Damyang Metasequoia Land to ensure that all tourists can enjoy the site conveniently and safely.
Through these improvements, the county has completely replaced the children's playground equipment with new structures that meet the latest safety standards. In addition, the restroom for people with disabilities inside Children's Provence has been remodeled, including the installation of automatic doors.
The popular "Meta Barefoot Dirt Trail" has seen its walking surface improved and the soil replaced to enhance the walking environment. The county has also installed insect repellent sprayers along main pathways to help prevent summer infectious diseases.
Above all, Damyang Metasequoia Land is the perfect place to relax and unwind in nature, surrounded by a vibrant array of summer flowers such as hydrangeas, zinnias, and lotuses.
County Governor Jeong Cheolwon stated, "We have carefully inspected every detail to ensure that each and every visitor can stay and enjoy themselves without inconvenience," and added, "This summer, I hope you will visit Damyang Metasequoia Land, where nature, relaxation, and comfort come together."
