The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold the '2025 College Admission Counseling Camp' over two days, July 18 and 19, at Exhibition Hall 2 of BEXCO in Haeundae.
This event is designed to provide practical college admission strategies, including information on rolling admissions and university-specific entrance requirements, for high school students, out-of-school youth, parents, and teachers. It also offers customized counseling opportunities for those preparing for the 2026 academic year rolling admissions process.
Held under the slogan "Ask About College Admissions, Run Toward the Future," this counseling camp will feature participation from 78 universities, including major universities in Busan and Seoul, as well as the Korea Student Aid Foundation and the university student mentoring group 'Cheongchuneoram.' They will provide college admission information and support career planning.
The camp is organized into three zones: the University Information Zone, the In-person Counseling Zone, and the Thematic Seminar Zone.
In the University Information Zone, a total of 78 universities?including 23 from Busan and 22 from Seoul?will set up booths to introduce their admissions processes, academic departments, and scholarship programs.
In the In-person Counseling Zone, counseling teachers from the Busan College Admission Support Team will conduct one-on-one rolling admission counseling sessions for third-year students, parents, and out-of-school youth, with a total of 10 sessions. Students who bring their school records and academic evaluation score reports will receive more detailed consulting.
In the Thematic Seminar Zone, six seminars will be held in the form of expert lectures, covering topics such as medical and pharmaceutical fields, rolling admissions guidelines, and comprehensive student record-based admissions.
Most programs at this event are open to on-site participation, with some exceptions.
Reservations for the In-person Counseling Zone can be made online through the Busan Career and College Admission Support Center website from 3:00 p.m. on July 3 to 3:00 p.m. on July 9. Reservations for the Thematic Seminar Zone can be made from 10:00 a.m. on July 4 to 3:00 p.m. on July 11.
