[Market Focus] Linksolution Receives 12.8 Billion KRW in National Subsidies... Asia's Largest 3D Printing Service Foundry Boosts Shares

Linksolution is showing strong performance. This is believed to be influenced by the news that the company has received 12.8 billion KRW in local investment promotion subsidies from the government, which can be used for investment in its new business: a 3D printing service foundry facility.

As of 2:17 p.m. on July 1, Linksolution was trading at 17,650 KRW, up 4.07% from the previous day.

According to industry sources, the total national subsidies Linksolution will receive amount to 14.75 billion KRW, which is approximately 66% of its consolidated equity capital of 22.2 billion KRW from the previous fiscal year. Based on these funds, Linksolution plans to invest a total of 49 billion KRW in the Daedeok-gu industrial complex in Daejeon to build a production base for Asia's largest-scale 3D printing services.

The Daejeon foundry facility will have a site area of 6,611 square meters (about 2,000 pyeong) and a total floor area of 10,740 square meters (about 3,248 pyeong), consisting of one basement floor and seven above-ground floors. Construction of the facility began in April, and the company aims to complete factory registration and officially launch operations by the end of August next year. Linksolution is actively carrying out collaborative projects with companies in various advanced industries, including robotics, mobility, defense, and aerospace.

Linksolution plans to introduce its self-developed high-performance 3D printer equipment to the foundry, establishing a smart line capable of year-round, uninterrupted production. By building a production system that can handle a wide range of materials from polymers to metals and supplying high-quality, customized products to customers, the company aims to secure its competitiveness in the market.
