EBS DocuPrime "The Face of Money" Published as a Book

The highly acclaimed EBS DocuPrime production "The Face of Money" has been published as a book.

This book does not simply explain the concept of currency or basic financial knowledge. Instead, it begins with a fundamental question: how does the structure of money operate within society and how does it earn trust? It dissects the core mechanisms of the modern economic system from various perspectives, covering topics from the origins of money to interest rates, liquidity, inflation, debt, and even cryptocurrencies.

The book's most distinctive feature is that it helps readers understand structural flows through real-life cases rather than focusing solely on concepts. The authors conducted on-site reporting in nine countries, including Lebanon, Japan, Nigeria, and the United States, and included stories from a diverse range of people?not only economists but also young investors, homemakers, and even a participant in a bank hostage situation?to vividly convey how money affects daily life.

Comprised of six sections, the book comprehensively addresses a variety of topics: the origins of currency and the structure of trust; the role of interest and the interest rate system; inflation and real wages; the impact of debt on individual lives; the rise of digital assets and cryptocurrencies; and the analysis of investment psychology and financial behavior. The academic review was conducted by Professor Choi Sangyeop, a former IMF economist and current professor at Yonsei University's Department of Economics, adding scholarly rigor and depth of interpretation.

"The Face of Money" is available at both online and offline bookstores, including Kyobo Bookstore, Yes24, and Aladin.
