Dongshin University announced on July 1 that Yoo Hungsik, CEO of Youngjin Engineering Co., Ltd., donated 10 million KRW and drones worth 5 million KRW to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering to foster specialized technical talent in the field of civil engineering.
At the donation ceremony held on the morning of June 30 at Haein Hall 1 of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Dongshin University, CEO Yoo Hungsik delivered a development fund of 10 million KRW along with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, which can be used as educational and research equipment. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Dongshin University plans to use the donation to improve the educational environment and provide scholarships for outstanding students, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of current students.
Yoo Hungsik said, "I received a lot of guidance and support from professors while earning my master's and doctoral degrees at Dongshin University. I was especially moved by the dedication of the professors who are committed to the growth of each and every student."
