Korbit, the first virtual asset exchange in South Korea, announced on July 1 that it has officially launched 'Korbit Biz,' a dedicated service for corporate clients, and will expand its business targeting corporate customers.
This new service is part of a strategic initiative to strengthen competitiveness and effectively respond to the trading needs of corporate clients in the virtual asset market, based on corporate sales experience accumulated through collaboration with Shinhan Bank since March.
'Korbit Biz' is a dedicated service designed to enable corporate clients to trade and manage virtual assets more conveniently and securely. Every stage of the process, from login and security to trading functions, is optimized for corporate use.
The login process offers two options: email login and joint certificate login. The joint certificate login allows corporate members who have completed customer verification to log in using only their registered certificate, without entering additional information. This provides both enhanced security and convenience.
Additionally, features such as transfer password setup, IP registration, and remote logout allow organizations to control asset access so that only specific departments or users can access assets. This systematic approach enables corporate clients to manage their most significant security risks.
The trading functions are also tailored to the corporate environment. In particular, for corporations engaging in large-scale transactions, the service offers a Time Weighted Average Price (TWAP) function to minimize market impact, enabling more efficient asset management. Emergency withdrawal restrictions and account protection lock features are provided as standard, while a certificate issuance function for asset statements improves convenience for internal accounting and settlement tasks.
The corporate onboarding process is managed through a dedicated corporate operations system. Corporations wishing to join can receive in-person guidance from a specialized sales representative for a smoother onboarding and service experience. Any issues that arise during use can be addressed quickly and accurately through a dedicated inquiry channel.
A representative from Korbit stated, "By launching a dedicated service for corporations, we aim to provide a specialized trading environment that meets the needs of corporate clients and continuously strengthen our competitiveness in the B2B market based on stable service operations." The representative added, "In line with the trend of corporations gradually increasing their participation in the virtual asset market, we plan to proactively respond to regulatory changes and build a trading environment that corporate clients can trust."
