LH Ddeunddeun Jeonse and Purchase-Lease Housing Applications Open from June 30

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced that starting from June 30, it will accept applications for three days for the Ddeunddeun Jeonse Housing and Newlywed/Newborn Purchase-Lease Housing, targeting newlywed couples without homes as well as middle-class and working-class households.

The purchase-lease program involves LH acquiring newly built or existing homes with good accessibility in urban areas and leasing them at affordable rates. A total of 1,713 housing units are available for application this time. By type, there are 869 units of Ddeunddeun Jeonse with an option for later purchase, 179 units of Newlywed/Newborn II with an option for later purchase, and 665 units of Ddeunddeun Jeonse without an option for later purchase. For purchase-lease units with an option for later purchase, tenants can choose whether to purchase the unit after a minimum of six years of lease.

Applicants must meet the income and asset criteria for purchase conversion at the time of tenant recruitment. Specifically, the household income must be less than 130% of the average monthly income of urban workers, and assets must be less than 354 million won. Purchase conversion does not require a separate subscription savings account, and the purchase conversion price is determined as the average of the appraised value at the time of move-in and at the time of purchase conversion.

For Ddeunddeun Jeonse, 1,296 units will be supplied in the Seoul metropolitan area and 238 units in other regions. Households with newborns or children will receive priority points. For Newlywed/Newborn Purchase-Lease Housing, 179 units will be supplied in Incheon and Gyeonggi regions. The list of applicants eligible for document screening will be announced in early July. Winners will be selected between August and September.
