Support for 150 Vulnerable Households to Endure the Summer

Gijang County in Busan (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on June 27 that it recently received a donation of 150 electric fans (worth 12 million won) from the BNK Busan Bank Gijang Branch (Branch Manager Yang Sugwang) to help residents cope with the hot summer season.

The donation ceremony was held at the BNK Busan Bank Gijang Branch on June 25. The donated fans will be delivered to 150 low-income and vulnerable households through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.

Branch Manager Yang Sugwang said, "I hope this small but cool gesture will bring comfort to our neighbors who are struggling due to rising prices and other difficulties," and added, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities for the local community."

Governor Jung Jongbok expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate BNK Busan Bank's warm act of sharing for neighbors facing financial hardship," and added, "We will make sure that the donated items are sincerely delivered to families in urgent need."

Gijang County continues to promote various public-private partnership projects and welfare support activities to help vulnerable groups stay healthy during the summer.
