On June 26, Chungnam Province signed a "Business Agreement for the Activation of Chungnam Workation" with Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) at the external reception room of the provincial government building.

Workation is a compound word combining "work" and "vacation," referring to a new work style that allows people to work while enjoying rest at a location of their choice.

This agreement was made possible because the values of Chungnam Province, which is actively promoting workation, align with those of Korea Water Resources Corporation, which seeks to establish a new organizational culture that balances work and rest.

The signing ceremony was attended by about 10 people, including Governor Kim Taeheum, President Yoon Seokdae of Korea Water Resources Corporation, and officials from both organizations. The event included a welcome meeting and the exchange of the agreement documents.

The main points of the agreement include: ▲administrative cooperation between the organizations to promote Chungnam Workation, ▲active participation in Chungnam Workation programs, and ▲support for promotional marketing activities and participant recruitment for Chungnam Workation.

Governor Kim stated, "I hope this agreement will serve as a stepping stone to make Chungnam the leading workation destination in Korea," and added, "I hope that employees of Korea Water Resources Corporation will gain new energy through Chungnam Workation, which perfectly balances work and rest."

He continued, "In the future, we plan to discuss workation participation with petrochemical companies in the Daesan Petrochemical Complex," emphasizing, "We will encourage not only public institutions but also companies to participate in workation programs."
