The Special Investigation Team of the National Office of Investigation at the National Police Agency announced through a press release on this day, "We sent the first summons in writing, and separately, we confirmed his intention to appear by phone on four occasions. The defense attorney clearly notified the police in advance of their intention not to comply with the summons when changing the date for participation in the forensic analysis of the secure phone to June 5."

The Special Investigation Team stated, "In the case of the second and third summons, the defense attorney did propose a written or face-to-face investigation, but these do not constitute legitimate reasons for nonappearance."

The Special Investigation Team also said, "There was no mention in the two submitted statements or elsewhere that the case would be handed over and that he would appear before the special prosecutor for questioning, nor have we received any communication expressing such an opinion."
