According to the county on the 26th, this training targets 3,350 seniors participating in the senior job program and is divided into competency training and safety education.

On the first day, the 25th, at the Bokheung-myeon Gymnasium, about 300 local seniors gathered for the event, where County Mayor Choi Youngil was invited as a special lecturer and received an enthusiastic response from the attendees.

As a special lecturer, Mayor Choi directly met with the participants during the training and gave special instructions regarding essential safety rules that must be observed during senior job activities, especially ahead of the upcoming heatwave season.

Mayor Choi began his lecture with the greeting, "Your participation in society is the foundation for a healthier future for Sunchang," and repeatedly emphasized the importance of safety rules during the heatwave season.

He further stated, "The health and safety of senior job participants during the hot summer months are of utmost importance," and urged, "Please refrain from outdoor activities as much as possible between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., which are the peak heatwave hours, and make sure to stay hydrated and take sufficient rest."

Meanwhile, Sunchang County's senior job and social activity support programs provide a variety of job opportunities for local residents aged 65 and older, contributing not only to income generation for seniors but also to promoting social participation and supporting a healthy later life.
