The site covers a total area of 280,000 square meters and is equipped with sports and multi-purpose recreational facilities.
Yeoncheon County plans to develop this area as a complex hub that connects education and tourism.

Kim Mikyung, Chairperson of the Yeoncheon County Council, also emphasized, "Attracting the Legislative Training Center is an achievement accomplished together by the county council and the residents. Going forward, the council will continue to cooperate to actively reflect the voices of the residents in the administration."
An official from Yeoncheon County said, "We will actively consult with the provincial council to ensure that the opinions collected from residents during the briefing session are reflected in the formulation of the basic plan. We will also continue to communicate with residents and promote the project transparently at each stage."
Meanwhile, the plan for the establishment of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Legislative Training Center is to complete the basic plan and feasibility study by October this year, secure budget allocation, and prepare the design, with the goal of completing construction by 2030.
Once the training center is completed, it is expected to bring in thousands of trainees annually, revitalize the local economy, and expand cultural and tourism content, generating a wide range of positive effects for the region.
