Provide Practical Recovery Support and On-Site Comfort
On June 26, BNK Financial Group announced that key executives, including Chairman Daein Bin and BNK Gyeongnam Bank President Taehan Kim, personally visited the wildfire-affected area in Sancheong, Gyeongnam Province, to offer warm words of comfort to residents and carry out practical recovery support activities.

This visit was organized to directly assess the severe damage in Sancheong, which was designated a special disaster area after a major wildfire in March, and to support local residents, particularly the elderly, who are in urgent need of assistance.
At the site, BNK Financial Group promoted tangible environmental restoration projects, such as rebuilding the Jirisan roadside wildfire shelter ("BNK Hope Garden") and improving the environmental protection wall along Songhajungtae Village Road ("BNK Nightingale Road"). The group also delivered comfort supplies prepared by its employees.
Additionally, BNK Financial Group signed an on-site agreement for the "BNK Forest Care Project," an initiative to restore forests destroyed by the wildfire, thereby committing to long-term forest recovery efforts.
Chairman Daein Bin stated, "I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the residents who have lost their homes and are suffering due to the large-scale wildfire. I hope this visit can serve, even in a small way, as a message of hope. BNK will continue to listen to the hardships of the local community and be a strong partner in overcoming them together."
BNK Financial Group is actively conducting the "Companion Campaign" to help revitalize the local economy and strengthen social responsibility. On June 11, the group established "Local Economy Hope Centers" at Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank, and continues to identify concrete tasks to support economic recovery and ESG initiatives. On June 12, BNK launched a campaign to revitalize local markets, and this visit to Sancheong marks the second step in the Companion Campaign.
