The Dongjinganggyo Bridge was originally constructed as a single-track bridge for the upper line in 1914, and a lower line bridge was added in 1985, establishing a double-track system. However, due to aging, this improvement project has been initiated. Dongbu Construction expects that this project will enhance the safety of the aging bridge and contribute to the stability and efficiency of the local railway infrastructure.

A Dongbu Construction representative stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure safe and flawless construction for the successful improvement of the Dongjinganggyo Bridge, which has a history of over 100 years, based on Dongbu Construction's accumulated experience in railway construction and proven technical expertise."
