This meeting was the first session of the newly formed Lifelong Education Practical Council for this year. The focus was on sharing information among local lifelong education-related organizations, activating networks, and gathering practical opinions for implementing field-oriented policies.

The meeting proceeded in the following order: appointment of new council members, election of the vice chairperson, a report on Yangju City's major lifelong education projects for 2025, and collection of on-site opinions and suggestions. The city plans to focus on establishing an execution-oriented policy structure based on collaboration between the public and private sectors.

In particular, the city provided guidance on the registration procedures and methods for institutions participating in the Lifelong Education Voucher program to ensure its smooth operation. The city also requested active cooperation in registering voucher-accepting institutions to expand opportunities for citizens to participate in lifelong education.

Mayor Yang Suhyun stated, "The expertise and experience of each council member will greatly contribute to the strategic planning of lifelong education in Yangju City," adding, "We will continue to promote customized policies that reflect on-site opinions."
