On June 26, SPC BKR, which operates Dunkin, announced the launch of the "Mexican Chipotle Chicken Burger," a new menu item that offers both a soft texture and a spicy flavor.
The "Mexican Chipotle Chicken Burger" reflects the "swicy" trend, delivering a unique taste experience. "Swicy" is a newly coined term that combines "sweet" and "spicy," and has recently become popular among younger consumers. By using chipotle sauce, which is commonly found in Mexican cuisine, the burger features a chicken patty that is soft, sweet, and spicy at the same time.
The burger consists of a soft bun, a flavorful chicken thigh patty, Mexican chipotle sauce, and savory mayonnaise, creating an addictive spicy taste. Sweet and tangy pickles are added to provide a refreshing crunch.
Dunkin continues to expand its hot sandwich menu by introducing a variety of unique burger products, such as the Spicy Cheese Chicken Burger and the Locos BBQ Pulled Pork Burger.
A Dunkin representative from SPC BKR stated, "We are introducing a new product that allows customers to enjoy a new kind of spicy flavor through the combination of chicken patty and Mexican chipotle sauce," adding, "It is also a great option for a convenient meal."
