The Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Education Promotion Agency will accept applications for the "Lifelong Education Voucher" until July 10.
The Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Education Voucher is a program that provides up to 350,000 KRW per person to cover course fees and textbook costs, allowing all residents of the province to participate in lifelong learning without financial barriers. If selected, points are awarded through an NH Nonghyup Card (Chaeum).
The second round of recruitment will select 13,764 participants. Any adult aged 19 or older residing in Gyeonggi-do is eligible to apply, regardless of income. Recipients of basic livelihood security and those in the lower income bracket will be given priority.
The vouchers are categorized as follows: General Voucher (ages 19 and above), Regional Specialized (Youth) Voucher (ages 19-39), Digital Voucher (ages 30 and above), Senior Voucher (ages 65 and above), and Disability Voucher (registered persons with disabilities aged 19 and above).
The General, Youth, Digital, and Senior Vouchers can be applied for through the Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Education Voucher website (lllcard.kr/gyeonggi), while the Disability Voucher can be applied for through the Bokjogeum24 website (www.gov.kr).
The awarded points can be used at designated institutions such as lifelong education centers and lifelong vocational education academies. The list of eligible institutions can be found on the Lifelong Education Voucher website.
Hong Seongdeok, Director of Lifelong Education at Gyeonggi-do, said, "We have expanded the eligibility criteria to provide more residents with learning opportunities."
