Goyang City Presents Informatization Vision and Strategies for 2026-2030

Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on the 26th that it held a kickoff meeting for the establishment of Goyang City's basic informatization plan on the 25th in the main conference room of City Hall. The event was attended by the Director of Planning and Coordination, city council members, research committee members, and key stakeholders, with the aim of setting Goyang City's future informatization vision and objectives.

The Goyang City basic informatization plan is designed to present the city's informatization vision and strategies for the next five years, from 2026 to 2030. Its goal is to proactively respond to the rapidly changing digital environment and to identify future informatization models that will maximize the efficiency of Goyang City's administrative operations.

The main components include: establishing an informatization vision and strategic direction aligned with Goyang City's vision and objectives; assessing and analyzing the current informatization environment and capabilities of Goyang City; researching domestic and international informatization trends and success cases; and formulating an informatization roadmap and implementation plan.

Yoon Kyungjin, Director of Planning and Coordination, stated, "Through the establishment of this basic informatization plan, we will elevate our organization's level of informatization, build a foundation for flexible adaptation to future environmental changes, and do our utmost to enhance public services and drive internal administrative innovation."

A representative from Nanum ICT Co., Ltd., the company executing the project, said, "Based on the feedback provided during the kickoff meeting, we will thoroughly analyze the characteristics and requirements of Goyang City and establish an optimized basic informatization plan to contribute to the advancement of informatization in Goyang City."
