Seventeen's Dino Purchases Galleria Foret Unit in Seongsu-dong for 9 Billion Won

Residents and Owners Include G-Dragon, Insooni, and Han Yeseul

Dino (real name Lee Chan, 26), a member of the group Seventeen, has reportedly purchased a high-end mixed-use apartment at Galleria Foret in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

According to court registry documents and the real estate industry on June 25, Dino bought a 195-square-meter unit at Galleria Foret for 9 billion won in February and completed the transfer of ownership earlier this month. This transaction marks the highest price ever recorded for a unit of this size, with the price per 3.3 square meters (one pyeong) reaching approximately 152.56 million won.

This unit size was last traded in March 2021 for 4.45 billion won, making this the first transaction in four years. The price has increased by about 5 billion won.

The registry documents show a mortgage of 6.16 billion won from a commercial bank. Considering that the maximum secured amount for such loans is typically 110 to 120 percent of the loan itself, it is estimated that Dino took out a home mortgage loan of approximately 5.6 billion won.

Galleria Foret is a luxury mixed-use apartment complex completed in 2011, consisting of seven basement levels and 45 above-ground floors, with a total of 230 households. Along with Trimage and Acro Seoul Forest, it is considered one of the most prestigious complexes in Seongsu-dong.

Subway Line 2’s Ttukseom Station and the Suin-Bundang Line’s Seoul Forest Station are within walking distance, and major areas such as Gangnam, Yeouido, and Gwanghwamun are easily accessible via Seongsu Bridge and Yeongdong Bridge. The complex is known for its excellent security and privacy, making it a popular residence for celebrities.

Singers such as G-Dragon and Insooni, and actors like Han Yeseul and Kim Soo-hyun, either currently reside in or own units in the complex. Broadcaster Jang Youngran recently purchased a 218-square-meter unit for 9.45 billion won under joint ownership with her husband, oriental medicine doctor Han Chang.
