The donated fans will be distributed to 2,000 low-income and marginalized households within Changwon, including people with disabilities and elderly individuals living alone, who are especially vulnerable to heat waves during the summer.

Heo Jonggu, Deputy President of the Changwon Business Group, stated, "With heat waves similar to last year expected again this year, I hope that our underprivileged neighbors will be able to have a cool summer despite the scorching weather." He added, "We will continue to practice warm sharing in the local community and strive even harder to fulfill our corporate social responsibility."

Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, expressed, "I deeply appreciate your concern for the healthy summer of neighbors vulnerable to heat waves," and added, "We will make sure that the donated fans are delivered with care to the households that need them most."

Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has been leading efforts to foster a culture of sharing in the local community by continuously carrying out various social contribution initiatives each year, such as providing Changwon Love Gift Certificates during holidays, summer supplies in the hot season, kimchi for winter, and daily necessities packages.
