The Chungnam Office of Education announced that on the afternoon of the 25th, it held a training session for parents in the province titled "2025 Visiting Education Policy Service" at the Science Education Center in Asan.


This education policy service, jointly conducted by the Ministry of Education, the Chungnam Office of Education, and the Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS), allowed parents in Chungnam to participate in person, while parents from other regions across the country were able to join remotely through a YouTube channel.


During the event, policy officials from the Ministry of Education and the Chungnam Office of Education explained the main points of the reading education policy, helping to address parents' questions.


Following this, Lim Hongtaek, widely known as the author of "The 1990s Generation Is Coming" and "The 2000s Generation Is Coming," gave a lecture on the theme "Finding the Path to Growth for Our Children Through Reading." He delivered deep insights on the importance of reading and child education, receiving an enthusiastic response from parents.


In the discussion session, Lim Hongtaek, Kim Hyoshin, Director of the Department of Character, Physical Education and Arts Education at the Ministry of Education, Kim Jeonga, a supervisor at the Chungnam Office of Education, and Kang Heeran, President of the Cheonan Humanities Learning Community, participated and shared a variety of perspectives and experiences on reading education.


Kim Jicheol, Superintendent of the Chungnam Office of Education, said, "I hope this will be an opportunity for parents to easily understand the reading education policy and to provide practical support for their children's growth in a changing educational environment."
