This agreement was signed following Dongducheon City's selection for the "2025 Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Learning Opportunity Special Zone" project hosted by Gyeonggi Province. Through this agreement, the local government, industry, and universities will collaborate to establish lifelong education governance and jointly promote solutions to local issues and the strengthening of citizens' capabilities.
Dongducheon City previously signed an agreement with Pocheon City and Daejin University on the 17th, and with this agreement with NH Nonghyup Bank, the cooperation system between local government, industry, and academia has been further strengthened.
Six people, including Lee Cheolhyeon, head of the NH Nonghyup Bank Dongducheon City Branch, attended the signing ceremony and reaffirmed their commitment to mutual cooperation for the smooth operation of the Dongducheon City Lifelong Learning Opportunity Special Zone project. Under the agreement, a sustainable cooperation system will be established in various fields, including the Learning Village Project, training of companion animal experts, and digital learning support for the elderly.
Mayor Hyungdeok Park stated, "Through cooperation and exchange with NH Nonghyup Bank, we will do our best to grow into a lifelong learning city centered on citizens and tailored to their needs."
