Although there have been previous visits by Taiwanese youth to North Jeolla Province, this is the first time that Namwon was included in the itinerary, making the event particularly significant. Last month, the city visited the Nantou County Education Office during the Korea Travel Expo held in Taiwan to introduce Namwon's travel courses and cultural experiences, which led to this fam tour.

During the event, the Namwon City delegation explored tourist attractions centered around Gwanghallu Garden, including the Kim Byungjong Art Museum, Moonlight Garden, and a night tour of the Yocheon Fountain. They also attended a Namwon Nongak performance, participated in a Janggu drumming experience, and made Hanbok dolls at Hwain-dang, receiving an enthusiastic response to Namwon's tourism resources as a first-time destination.

Mayor Choi Kyungsik stated, "This was an opportunity to promote Namwon's valuable cultural and tourism assets internationally," adding, "Starting with youth cultural exchanges, we will focus on promoting Namwon's natural treasures both domestically and internationally."
