"Meeting in Person Boosts Sales"... Busan Public Procurement Service Holds 'Public Procurement Partnership Day'

"Meeting in person boosts sales!"

The Busan Public Procurement Service has created a platform for communication between local social economy enterprises and public institutions. The aim is to provide tangible sales benefits to these companies.

On June 25, the Busan Public Procurement Service (headed by Shin Bongjae) is holding the "2025 3rd Public Procurement Partnership Day" at Avani Central in Jung-gu, Busan. This event is designed to introduce outstanding products manufactured in the region to local public institutions and to promote the realization of social value through public procurement.

Seven procurement companies, including businesses run by people with disabilities, social enterprises, and women-owned businesses, are participating in the event. They will present the features and use cases of their products and conduct one-on-one customized consultations with about 80 procurement officers from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education. The consultations will focus on practical possibilities for procurement linkage, such as pricing, delivery methods, and usage plans.

After the event, there will be a user training session for the "Next-Generation Nara Marketplace," which was launched in March, as well as a communication session between staff from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and the Public Procurement Service.

Shin Bongjae, head of the Busan Public Procurement Service, emphasized, "We will actively support public procurement to expand market access for companies run by socially disadvantaged groups and to contribute to the local economy. I hope today's meeting will lead to tangible sales results."
