Renault Korea to Participate in Startup Exhibition 'NextRise'
Showcasing Innovative Technologies and Startup Collaboration at COEX
Renault Korea announced on June 25 that it will participate in the startup exhibition 'NextRise,' which will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from June 26 to 27, in order to discover mobility startup partners.
Renault Korea participated in NextRise last year, where the Director of Open Innovation from Renault's headquarters in France visited and held a conference on innovation strategies in the automotive industry. This year, in addition to the conference, Renault Korea will set up a separate booth to showcase in detail a variety of innovative technologies featured in the Grand Koleos OpenAR panorama screen.
Renault Korea plans to introduce infotainment and connectivity services together with its startup partners, including Dreamace, a partner for web and app service development through the Whale browser; Obigo and Smashlab, partners for game platform development utilizing the openR panorama screen; and Cinemo, a partner for vehicle personalization and connectivity service development.
In addition, lectures will be held to present the future direction of mobility technology. On June 27, at the Mobility Conference, Regis Brignon, Director of Software and Systems at Renault Korea, will introduce the startup collaboration ecosystem that Renault Korea is building under the theme of "An Innovative Ecosystem for the Automotive Industry with Startups," and will present unique opportunities for innovation and growth.
A Renault Korea representative stated, "Since 2023, we have been hosting the 'Startup Open Stage' to discover promising startups," adding, "We are developing innovative technologies and ideas to be applied to future vehicles together with startups."
