This fair has been organized to provide local high school students and their parents with the latest information on university admissions and to help them establish systematic strategies for advancement, in response to the 2026 admission environment, where the early admission rate reaches 79.9%.

At the fair, consultation booths from 40 major universities in the Seoul metropolitan area will offer detailed information on both early and regular admissions. Special booths related to career and academic advancement, such as "psychological counseling," "university student mentoring," and "high school credit system consulting," will also be available at the venue.

The city will also provide "one-on-one personalized admission consulting" for a total of 312 participants, with teachers from the Gyeonggi Admission Information Center, through pre-registration at the fair. Test-takers can receive tailored consulting based on their mock exam score reports and school records. Those who wish to participate can register on a first-come, first-served basis through the "Yongin City Admission Fair" website on the 30th.

For "psychological counseling" as well, students who wish to receive counseling can pre-register on the admission fair website on the 30th.

Following this fair, the city also plans to hold a university admission fair in the second half of the year in December, which will include consulting for regular admissions and special lectures on admission strategies.

Yongin City Mayor Lee Sangil said, "Even amid the confusing admission system, we will continue to expand various customized education programs and counseling services so that students can find the path that best suits them."
