According to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on June 24, Lee was booked on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act and is currently being summoned for questioning. He is suspected of driving another person's vehicle while under the influence of drugs in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 2:00 p.m. on June 8.

The owner of the vehicle reported the car as stolen, but Lee explained that the incident was a misunderstanding caused by the fact that the vehicle was the same model as his own.

After being apprehended, Lee tested positive for drugs in a preliminary reagent test, and it has been confirmed that the National Forensic Service also submitted a confirmation of a positive result to the Gangnam Police Station following a detailed examination.

The police stated that, according to the Road Traffic Act, there are regulations prohibiting driving under the influence of drugs, even if the drugs were legally prescribed, if there is a risk that their effects could impair driving ability.
