Lee Junseok, a member of the Reform New Party, predicted that Han Donghoon, former leader, and Na Kyungwon, lawmaker, will both run in the People Power Party's national convention, which is likely to be held in August. He also analyzed that lawmaker Ahn Cheolsoo appears to be moving toward declaring his candidacy as well.

On June 24, during an appearance on TV Chosun's YouTube program 'Strong Punch,' Lee was asked about the People Power Party's national convention. He said, "No matter how I look at it, Han Donghoon's actions are not those of someone who is not going to run. It seems he is somewhat afraid of what he would do if he didn't run. I am 100% certain he will run."

Lee continued, "Na Kyungwon will also run, 100%. She has never skipped any election so far. That is how her name recognition and support base have been maintained, and since she has a certain level of support, I think she will definitely run first and then assess the situation."

In summary, Lee Junseok predicted that Na Kyungwon, Ahn Cheolsoo, and Han Donghoon will all run in the People Power Party's national convention. When asked by the host who he thinks will win, Lee replied, "Han Donghoon will win, 100%. Personally, I would like to see Ahn Cheolsoo win. From my own perspective, since it's not my party, I think it would be good if Ahn Cheolsoo won, as our interests are similar. However, in this scenario, it will be Han Donghoon who wins."

Regarding the possibility of Han Donghoon running in the parliamentary by-elections, which will be held simultaneously with the local elections on June 1 next year, in districts such as Gyeyang-eul in Incheon or Yongin-gap, Lee said, "By-elections are the most difficult among elections, and all three are challenging constituencies."

The Gyeyang-eul district in Incheon became vacant due to President Lee Jaemyung's election, while the Yongin-gap seat is vacant because Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Sangshik received a ruling of invalidation of election in the first trial for violating the election law. In Asan, Chungnam, the seat is vacant as Democratic Party lawmaker Kang Hoonshik resigned after becoming the presidential chief of staff.

Lee analyzed, "Next year's by-elections will be held before the approval ratings of the Lee Jaemyung administration decline, and the party will mobilize all its resources. If they win here, they will gain significant political momentum, but if they lose, they could end up like former leader Hwang Kyoan."
