The HJ Construction Integrated Safety Control Center is a central control system that collects and monitors video information from sites nationwide in real time. Through multi-screen displays, multiple sites can be monitored simultaneously, and by linking with HJ Heavy Industries' in-house safety and health management system, safety-related information from each site can be reviewed at a glance.
Control equipment such as mobile CCTVs has been installed in high-risk work zones and confined spaces, which are vulnerable areas for safety and health management. High-risk operations, including tower crane work, tunnel work, and bridge work, can be constantly monitored from the head office. When risk factors arise, the center can immediately order work to stop or provide prompt on-site support.
In 2023, HJ Heavy Industries established the 'Safety e+' system, which computerized all safety and health management tasks, thereby implementing a continuous safety and health management system early on. The mobile version, a smart safety and health management system called 'Safety M+', has also been in operation since this month.
Through this service, all safety and health management tasks?including safety inspection meetings, management of safety training logs, safety inspection activities, and work stoppage requests?can be handled via smartphone. In particular, the integration of AI (artificial intelligence) and RPA (robotic process automation) features has maximized the efficiency of safety and health management tasks by automatically creating and sending documents.
Kim Wanseok, CEO of HJ Heavy Industries, stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure there are no blind spots in on-site safety management by establishing an integrated safety and health management system," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our safety and health management to achieve zero serious industrial accidents."
