Gwangju Bukgu District announced on the 24th that it will sign a "Local Coexistence Consumption Promotion Agreement" in cooperation with military units and other organizations to boost consumption in local alleyway commercial districts.
The signing ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. on the same day in the situation room of the Bukgu District Office, with four organizations participating: Bukgu District, the 6753rd Military Unit, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Bukgu Alleyway Commercial District Merchants Association. The event will proceed in the following order: introduction of participants, report on the agreement details, signing of the agreement, and commemorative photo session.
Under the agreement, Bukgu District will provide an additional 5,000 won when soldiers from the 31st Division, including the 6753rd Military Unit, sign up for the Digital Onnuri app and charge at least 5,000 won on the same day. In addition, up to a 10% discount will be offered when using alleyway commercial districts.
The Small Enterprise and Market Service will provide 500 coupons for an additional 5,000 won recharge of Digital Onnuri gift certificates, and the military unit will actively encourage soldiers to use local alleyway businesses when on leave or off-base. Bukgu District expects this agreement to help increase sales in alleyway commercial districts.
