SK Magic Expands 'Love Bread Sharing' Volunteer Activities Nationwide

Relay Volunteer Activities in 24 Regions Nationwide Until December

SK Magic announced on the 24th that it will carry out the 'Love Bread Sharing' volunteer activity nationwide in partnership with the Korean Red Cross.

'Love Bread Sharing,' conducted together with the Korean Red Cross, is a participatory volunteer program in which a volunteer group consisting of approximately 240 heads and branch managers from 24 regions across the country, as well as MC (Magic Care) staff responsible for on-site management services such as water purifiers and air purifiers, directly take part in baking and packaging bread to deliver to underprivileged members of local communities.

Since May, SK Magic has been sequentially carrying out the 'Love Bread Sharing' volunteer activity in major regions such as Seoul, Gangwon, and Chungcheong. On the 16th, about 10 volunteers participated at the Korean Red Cross Daejeon Sejong Branch, producing and delivering over 300 pieces of bread to underprivileged members of the community. The company plans to continue the volunteer activity in a relay format across 24 regions nationwide until December.

SK Magic is also promoting volunteer activities aimed at delivering messages of comfort and hope to various neighbors. In May, the company donated 6 million won to the nonprofit organization Ongi, and is currently conducting a 'handwritten letter reply volunteer activity,' in which volunteers respond with handwritten letters of encouragement and comfort to anonymously submitted letters of concern received through mailboxes installed at 85 branches nationwide.

In addition, when wildfires broke out in the Yeongnam region in April, SK Magic provided emergency support by supplying air purifiers to evacuation shelters for residents suffering from poor air quality. The company also supplied an additional 100 air purifiers to elementary, middle, and high schools in Sancheong, Gyeongnam, to help protect the health of students affected by the wildfires and improve their learning environment, actively taking the lead in regional development and the spread of a sharing culture.
